LIGHT-TURNING, WURLITZER JUKEBOX, L.P., 1996, U.K.
light
Amazing 1996 release by sometimes Amp & FSA collaborator. UK based artist who recently released his John Peel sessions which are also fantastic and can be found via Unlabel. He borrowed gear (including Dave FSA's 4-track) to make this recording happen. For us it embodies everything a great spacerock album should have. its super lush and beautiful drifting vocals are quite a treat. Dave suppossedly ad's a hand on the B-side of this record, either that or Light summons the aid FSA 4-track ghosts to chime in... theres a 7" with the title track "Turning" on Wurlitzer Jukebox worth getting as well. both LP and 7" are pretty limited and hard to find these days... a pillar in the uk lo-fi spacerock catalog of releases. beautiful...
